Here’s what this app does
Window View helps passengers identify airports, cities, natural landmarks, and other points of interest beneath a flight. It can show location, orientation, and speed and lets users save or share interesting places.
The app bundles point-of-interest data and supports preparing routes before departure for offline use. GPS reception inside an aircraft can vary, so the real-time display is not guaranteed to work in every seat or aircraft.
The current iOS download is free and shows no in-app purchases. The developer's Reddit post describes ad-supported use without a subscription; the exact current ad frequency was not tested. The August 2026 update was verified. This is a passenger discovery app, not a navigation instrument.
