Here’s what this app does
Upcoming turns birthdays, vacations, weddings, deadlines and other dates into visual countdowns. Each countdown can use a name, color and photo, with Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets keeping important dates visible. Reminders, recurring events, birthday imports and completed-event keepsakes round out the personal planning tools.
Users can share a countdown by link or invite another person to follow the same countdown, including photos, messages and reactions. Data is stored on the device and in the user's iCloud account. Some non-identifying analytics and diagnostic data may be collected according to the App Store privacy label.
The current US App Store record lists Upcoming as free with no in-app purchases or required subscription. The app supports iPhone and iPad and currently requires iOS or iPadOS 18.0 or later. Details were checked on October 7, 2026.
