Here’s what this app does
TradeStation is a brokerage and trading platform aimed primarily at active, self-directed traders. Its software supports stocks, ETFs, options, and futures and includes real-time quotes, charting, watchlists, alerts, options analysis, market-depth tools, and order execution. Users can access TradeStation through its iOS and Android apps, web trading platform, and desktop products.
For customers with a TradeStation brokerage account, access to the core TradeStation platform is provided without a separate software-access fee. TradeStation explicitly states that brokerage customers receive the platform and several major tools at no additional charge. Trading commissions, regulatory or exchange fees, optional market-data fees, margin interest, and other brokerage charges can still apply.
TradeStation also offers its analysis software to people who are not brokerage customers for a recurring fee. Its current official fee schedule lists the base TradeStation platform with RadarScreen at $99.99/month for non-professionals or $199.99/month for professionals, while Portfolio Maestro is $59.95/month. Therefore, recurring software subscriptions exist, but they are not required for ordinary TradeStation brokerage customers.
