Here’s what this app does
Sidecam is a dedicated work camera for iPhone. Instead of mixing job-related photos and videos into the normal iOS Photos library, it stores them inside its own separate library and organizes captures into sessions, folders, and tags. The app supports 24 MP and 48 MP HEIF photos, multiple iPhone lenses, zoom controls, grids, exposure lock, and 4K video.
The app is designed for people who regularly take work-related photos, such as healthcare workers, inspectors, construction professionals, real-estate users, and workshop staff. Sidecam can optionally mirror captured files to iCloud Drive or another user-selected cloud folder, and it supports Face ID locking for its internal library.
As of September 3, 2026, the U.S. App Store lists Sidecam as Free and does not show any in-app purchases or subscriptions. The developer’s own site likewise presents it as an iPhone app available from the App Store without identifying a paid plan.
