Here’s what this app does
PointerDeck turns an iPhone or iPad into a wireless trackpad for a Mac. It supports pointer movement, two-finger scrolling, left and right clicks, drag lock, and adjustments to sensitivity, scrolling direction, and button layout.
Both the mobile controller and the required Mac Receiver are free. The developer states that the release has no subscription, advertising, analytics SDK, account, or cloud service. It controls the pointer and does not stream the Mac’s screen.
The receiver requires macOS 14 or later, and the mobile app requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Both devices must share a local network, and the receiver needs Accessibility permission. Pairing uses a connection PIN and encrypted local traffic.
