Lyra

Lyra is a music-streaming application for listening to songs, podcasts and live radio. Users can search for music, create playlists, save favorites and continue audio playback in the background. The official listings also describe importing personal tracks and some offline functionality.

The app is available for normal use without purchasing a subscription. Google Play explicitly describes Lyra as free and states that no subscription or account is required. Apple likewise lists the download as free, although it offers Lyra Premium as an in-app purchase.

On the U.S. Apple App Store, optional Lyra Premium plans are currently listed at $2.99 per month and $17.99 per year. These purchases therefore appear to add premium functionality rather than unlock basic access to the application. Android-specific Premium prices were not verifiable from the official Google Play page reviewed.
